Who I am sharing with........
Well the rooming list has been asked for and now provided for.....and I can now exclusively announce the results of the draw for the Amsterdam 2009 Fleet Bondage Tour.In Room 1 - a delightful and cozy twin room....Sea Marshall Cock and Finance Minister Cervi
In Room 2 - with an intoxicating blend of aromas...AotF Starj, CEO Card and Commandant Percy
In Room 3 - a room of fine Fleet Guests....Alee, Stoo and Steeevo.
And Room 4 - to share a single bed and look after the junior member of the fleet, Gunnery Sergeant Hymers and EXCO Campo.

Sea Marshall C9ck's Birthday Honours List
On accepting the rank of Sea Marshall, I - secretly and under laws as old as the fleet itself - and with the utmost humility - bestowed upon myself the duty, nee privilege, of announcing a birthday honours list...er... on an annual basis. Here begins the first annual Sea Marshall's birthday honours list. This is a Q1 announcement.It is with great pride that I announce the following.
1. For services to the Fleet during his tenure as AoTF I hereby enrol the AoTF Starj as Commander of the Order of the Fleet Empire (CFE)
2. For services to the Fleet website I hereby enrol the Exco as Officer of the Order of the Fleet Empire (OFE).
3. For services rendered to the Fleet in relation to travel arrangements and accomodation on foreign shores I hereby bestow on Craftsman Coco the title of Dame Commander of the Order of the Bath (DCB).
4. For repeated and selfless engagement in fleet / mini-fleet soirees I hereby bestow on the Gunnary Sergeant Hymers the title of Companion of the Order of the Barf (CB).
Here ends the first annual Sea Marshall Birthday Honours list.

We Were Promised (More) Jetpacks
Another date for your diary boyz. Tuesday 9th June 2009 back at Cab Vol. Tickets £8 + booking.
Who is in??????? Hymers, dont even say it. Just don't say it!!!
First album will be out in time for that.
Seems that they are supporting a danish band called, Teitur. You can check out their myspace here, total grower, track 2 is better than 1 i think.....Also, i'm claiming that i'm saying this now, cause all recollection of my chat about The Fleet Foxes seems to have been forgotten and they are just simply immense!!
Another top band for you guys: Empire of the Sun. Check it boys! If you are into MGMT, and you should be, then these boys are fairly decent ;) Oh and c9ck, special mention here - you MUST go find the Friendly Fires album and listen to it. Another Hot Chip moment coming along at TitP!
In other news, the Jetpacks have appeared on their first torrent!! Some collection of US tunes, to go with their forthcoming US tour ;)

Blog of The Month (B.O.T.M.) - February
Ok Fleet, so what happened in February?!
Item 1 - 63 posts in Jan down to a paltry 43 in Feb
Item 2 - Quality control - The following posts have been brought to my attention for all the wrong reasons.
Ollie's Christmas decorations posts - just all wrong.
TC - old ladies with trolleys - any need?
Starj - Crazy Frog (twice) and Bagpus - dear oh dear.
However, there were some high points - top 5 as follows
Equal 5th. Starj - Ski goggles, & Ollie - staring at a door - totally random but rather amusing
4. Cardo - Pink - no particular reason ...
3. ZDF - Table Tennis - "ROOF ACTION" shout from Zool - cracks me up every time
2. Vontz - Wava man - a wava man is a happy man!
1. c9ck - Application... Denied
I was going to give Zool some points for speeding it up (by accident) but he's top of the table so I'm not going to. However, I am going to share the points with Vontz, without whom this post would not have been possible.
Something tells me March could be an interesting month for blogs... make it so.
