The venue is to be confirmed but celebrations will kick off from 7:30pm at a seady venue near you.

Can I just say something here...?

...who votes for "no preference"?!

8% apparently.

I propose immediate revoking of rights to apply for membership for these turkeys ... with immediate effect.

Haddow Fest 2011 Earlybird Tickets

Gentlemen.  Some of us were out and about at the Haddow Fest last month and it was pretty damn decent.  The format is such...
Meet for lunch at 12.30ish.  Have a few pints, but no too many as its a long day ;)  Take in some lesser known bands in some of Edinburgh's hidden venue gems.  Have a laugh.

The early bird tickets are on sale for £10 each right now.  The early bird tickets for this year were £15 so we're already saving.

Let's get involved :)

Who's in?

Tickets are available from seetickets. At this link.

T in the Park 2010 - Campbell Compilation :)

Gents, to all those that are going to T, you'll be delighted that i've created my usual compilation album to fine tune those lugs to the delightful bands that we many end up seeing :)

CDs will be in the post shortly to those that are attending and to some of you who might also be interested in coming along for one day or whatever :)

The day-by-day split has been announced and here's the state of play as it stands:

CLICK ON THE PIC PLEASE FOR FULL VERSION :)

Clashes are always an issue and so far, I've noted: Hot Chip and Faithless (although there is no contest!), Mumford / Eminem / Prodigy (argh!). But this isn't the final bill nor is there any real problem :)

Anyway, here's the playlist of the compilation:

1) La Roux - In for the Kill
2) Hot Chip - Over and Over
3) The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition
4) Faithless - Insomnia
5) Muse - Uprising
6) Muse - Starlight
7) Shed Seven - Going for Gold
8) We Are Scientists - Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt
9) The Courteeners - Not Nineeteen Forever
10) Vampire Weekend - A Punk
11) Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man
12) Empire of the Sun - Walking on a Dream
13) Delphic - Doubt
14) Two Door Cinema Club - Undercover Martyn
15) Two Door Cinema Club - What you Know
16) Kassidy - Stray Cat
17) Kassidy - Betrayal [working on a link for this]
18) Kasabian - L S F
19) Jay-Z - Big Pimpin' [for starj alone!]

That's the list. Roughly in the order you would exepct to see the bands, if indeed we were to see them all, which we won't.

Personal 'can't wait to see list' is as follows:

a) Kassidy
b) Two Door Cinema Club
c) Delphic
d) Hot Chip
e) Mumford and Sons
f) Shed Seven
g) Empire of the Sun
h) We are Scientists
i) Muse
j) Kasabian

Aarrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhh!!! Them all. First two especially :) In the Pet Sounds Arena or Futures Tent on Sunday please :) OH YES!

Enjoy.

Campbell.
