Here’s the view of the pool from our balcony on the 2nd floor.
The hotel grounds are pretty impressive.
During the 1st half of the footy Campbell grazed a knee in diving around in the sea after the Wilson ball. After a quick change and a shower we went for a brief Hotel tour spotting the Tennis Courts and the swing park!! Erm….

The 2nd half of the footy, with only Hym0rs heading into the sea, took place and this was captured on video. Excerpt to follow soon!

At night, we went to a lovely (*cough*) establishment called the Railway Restaurant – it wasn’t the best.

Hym0rs had been going on about some ‘sports bar’ called Octopussy. We found it, and yes, it was one of the many establishments where you are never sure if the waitresses are actually waitresses or they have a secondary employment, shall we say? Nonetheless, Campbell and Hym0rs kicked off the Annual Pool Competition, with Campbell finishing 3-0 up. The only reason there weren’t more games played – Campbell had to see off some random yanks and an Aussie called Jake in the middle of the tournament.
After a few Singha beers, Campbell was a bit worse for ware and incurred the wrath of everyone on the way back to the room, via a 7-eleven for some chomp.
Back in the room, the hi-bees score (1-0 win at the sheep) was discovered, as well as the timely news that Burley had quit hearts, we know no more about it at this time, but Starky – get it right up ye!
Hym0rs then went into a panic as he revealed that he had misplaced the handy-cam. A quick tour of the rooms ensued and it was still missing! Campbell (after one too many Singha’s) was then called in to assist. Burn revealed that he definitely had it when leaving the bar, so he might have left it in the 7-eleven, but Lo! Campbell spotted the safety deposit box was open – and boom snip, there’s the bloomin camera. Hym0rs, obviously a bit worse for wear too, had forgotten he’d put it in there, roughly 5 mins beforehand!!!
