Went for a walk along the beach on me tod. Bumped into a ‘tic fan. As you do. Spotted that the centre of the touristy bit is only about 10 minutes walk away, max.
New record set for headers at the beach. A paltry 21.
Burn has managed to now get a vest tan line from her 30 minute walk in the town this morning! Never rains but it pours (quite apt for here!).
Read in the Bangkok Post that there was a ‘flash flood aid centre’ set up for the locals in Hua-hin cause of the rain. Bizarre all this, seeing as we ain’t in rainy season, just a big cloud it seems! Anyway, here’s hoping that the sun is out for the next week and a bit that we are here in Hua-hin.

Kermit was almost squashed under the big
boats of the Campbell. He survived.
Miss Piggy sends her thanks.
What shouldn’t be in this pic?
Yes, it’s the famous hat from T-in-the Park.
Went out about 8pm, tuk-tuk into the centre with food on our minds, oh it was raining a bit, again, so the brollies were out for the ladies. Got off at the Sofitel and walked about a bit, deciding on a place right outside the Hilton – tomato soup – YES, chicken in a basket – YES, Banana Split – YES. Singha Beer LarDge – YES. Then it was off to Octopussy for some pool and chat. Mr Hym0rs was not in good form at all, so Burnsie was called in from the subs bench to take up the battle against the Campbell. Pool Series score at the end of the evening, 11-5 to Campbell.
Back at the Octopussy, Mr Hym0rs tries
to make light of his Pool nightmare.
It’s the shiny forehead brigade!
After pool and beers it was time to head back and get a tuk-tuk, trouble was, it was chucking it down, but we were lucky to get one right away. Another day down, wonder if the sun will be back tomorrow?

Parasol Stars.
